Right now I’m aggravated with management at work. Work schedules will be changing so they called me on my day off to see which schedule I would want. The choices given started at 8am and ranged up to noon, I noticed them hinting for me to take the noon one which is what I currently have but thinking I had a choice I picked a 9am schedule.

Less than 5 minutes later I get called back with apologies on behalf of the big boss but “you’re so super strong that we need you in midshift, the busiest time of the day to bring stability to the transition from morning to night shift”. Then he added an “you’re so good I wish I could clone you”, yeah, I wish you could clone me too so my clone can work the mid shift.

So I’m too good to work mornings, so now I’ll be having a 11:00-7:30 shift at least because of the situation they allowed me to pick my days off.

If they really didn’t want me to work mornings, just don’t tell me that you have morning shifts available….

So there are new schedules at work, my schedule surprisingly stayed the same but Fox’s schedule changed enough so that we no longer have a day off together. Boo!

Hopefully it won’t last very long. The move is now officially around the corner and I’m starting to feel overwhelmed at how much there is to do.
